When your buyer starts questioning whether EVERY house in Central Texas has a foundation problem… 😂
I get it.
Foundation repairs can sound scary, especially when you’re seeing them over and over again during your home search.
But foundation movement is common in Central Texas, and it’s something homeowners can monitor and maintain.
💧 Keep moisture consistent around the foundation
🌧️ Keep water moving away from the house
🔎 Watch for changes in cracks, doors, floors, etc.
🏡 Stay on top of drainage and general maintenance
And when we find a house that has already had foundation work?
We don’t automatically run. We investigate.
Because a repaired and properly documented foundation isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
My job isn’t to find my buyers a house with absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Because…good luck with that. 😂
My job is to help them understand what they’re buying so they can decide whether the good outweighs the not-so-good.
And if it doesn’t?
We keep looking. That’s the beauty of having options. ❤️
